Not HNT, not even HNMonday

I found out about HNT quite recently.

It reminded me of one of my favourite quotes from this film (incidentally the best film ever...)

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0261392/

Jay: What the fuck is the Internet?
Holden: The Internet is a communication tool used the world over where people can come together to bitch about movies and share pornography with one another.

Now HNT isn't porn. However the internet is a communication tool which you can use to get semi-naked in front of lots of people who don't know you in realspace. Cool, huh, especially if you are a bit of an exhibitionist.

"Soon to be departing these fair shores Evie" mentioned that I should do something with my back, seeing as how I was boasting about it the other week. Well, she totally called my bluff and whilst I spend the next year hauling my sorry ass down the gym to try and look like an extra in "300" I suggest you go have a look here in the meantime

  1. At risk of sounding like my mother, if you want millions of people to see you naked either become a porn star (and I couldn't comment on your skills in that area) or naturist. Anything else is just a bit half hearted.

That said, I worked as a life model when I was a student and I suspect I had similar motives to Evie - and I got paid.

  2. HNT is not naked, it's a bit naked.
I think it's not materially different from dancing on the bar at Carnegie's or that time in Castillo's that G, now a serious grown-up who you can see occasionally on CNBC, took her shirt off, leaving nothing on her top half but a bra.

I don't think people's exhibitionist tendencies are that binary, porn star or not at all.

  3. My point entirely. If you are an exhibitionist, then be one. Not a tease.
